Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: /n/n Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. /n/n Opportunity: /n RN - Med Surg Neuro /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM /n• No call requirements /n• 13-week backfill contract position /n• Required certifications: BLS and NIH /n• Must complete MedSurg Assessment, Pharmacology Assessment, and MedSurg Skills assessments /n• Patient ratios: 6:1 on night shifts /n• Work on 40-bed neurology unit with 1 charge nurse, 7 RNs, and 4 PCTs during night shift /n• Use Meditech EMR system /n• Dress code requirement: Navy blue scrubs /n• Must demonstrate positive attitude and team player mentality /n• Provide care for neurology patients requiring medical-surgical level care /n• Work as part of established team with great culture /n/n Facility: /n This medical center operates a comprehensive 40-bed neurology unit located on the 4th floor of the main facility.
