Position Information We are seeking a Program Coordinator II, who
under general supervision, works collaboratively with departmental
leadership to implement academic programs and manage marketing and
communication needs. Responsibilities: 60% Academic Program
Coordination - Support the undergraduate and graduate Program
Manager. - Support the Didactic Program in Dietetics and Master in
Clinical Nutrition / Dietetic Internship Programs - Assist with
student outreach and recruitment for undergraduate programs,
including degree programs and new high-impact learning and research
experiences for students. Outreach events may be held locally or
out of state. - Serve as a primary contact for prospective students
and families and current students. - Plan and implement programs
such as conferences, seminars, lectures, meetings, and workshops.
Assist with program evaluation. - Collect and track data and
statistics for various program platforms and internal applications.
Maintain program records and databases. - Administer undergraduate
scholarships. Oversee scholarship logistics and organization. -
Respond to inquiries regarding program offerings. - Maintain
contracts for Dietetic Internships and coordinate with preceptor
sites. - Assist in the preparation and planning of events. Monitor
budgets for programs and events, as needed. - Develop and update
training materials and deliver training sessions as required. -
Manage the Nutrition Undergraduate Ambassadors program: recruit
ambassadors, train students, delegate tasks and events, and
coordinate ambassador duties and compliance. - Coordinate the
Nutrition Undergraduate Research Immersion in the Summer (NURISh)
Program. Responsibilities include developing all recruiting,
application, and participant materials; maintaining the program
handbook; managing financials and the housing contract; overseeing
program logistics; and assisting with funding proposals. - Manage
the tutoring program. - Instruct an AGLS 125 nutrition-restricted
section to prepare Nutrition students for success and encourage
retention. - Design an undergraduate-specific academic newsletter.
- Liaise between The Foundation for donor connections and serve as
a primary contact for department donors. Assist in identifying
program funding opportunities, as needed. - Liaise with the College
of Nursing to support pre-nursing student population. 35% Marketing
and Communications: - Manage the departmental website design,
accessibility, and updates. - Social media support for department.
- Coordinates internal and external program communications and
marketing. - Create departmental and program specific flyers. -
Marketing and promotion of department programs. - Design branded
items. - Assist with departmental events such as seminars,
symposiums, and social gatherings. - Assist with departmental
conference room A/V needs. 5%: Other duties as assigned Required
Education and Experience: -Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
combination of education and experience. -Four years of related
experience in program coordination and/or marketing and
communication. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
-Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database
applications. -Verbal and written communication skills. -Ability to
multitask and work cooperatively with others. -Ability to travel
for outreach and recruitment -Ability to work during some nights
and weekends Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: -Design
tools such as Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator -Social media and
related technologies -Event planning -Marketing and communications
-Branding and design -WordPress -Public speaking -Familiarity with
