Position Summary The Maintenance Technician is responsible for
ensuring the building, guest rooms, public spaces, and
back-of-house areas remain in excellent working condition. This
role supports day-to-day operations by completing preventive
maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and responding quickly to
guest and team requests. The ideal candidate is proactive,
detail-oriented, and comfortable working both independently and as
part of a small, service-driven team. Key Responsibilities Perform
daily repairs and maintenance across the property, including HVAC,
plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general building upkeep.
Complete work orders promptly and accurately, ensuring professional
communication with staff and guests. Conduct routine preventive
maintenance on equipment, guest rooms, and common areas to ensure
safety and functionality. Support turnover of apartments/guest
suites, including minor repairs, fixture replacements, and general
touch-ups. Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance
shop, tools, and inventory. Inspect the property regularly,
identifying areas needing repair or improvement. Assist with
life-safety protocols and building systems, including fire alarms,
sprinklers, and emergency procedures. Partner with third-party
vendors, contractors, and building management as needed. Respond to
emergency maintenance calls when assigned (some on-call rotation
may be required). Ensure all work adheres to brand standards,
safety regulations, and local building codes. Qualifications 2
years of maintenance or building engineering experience, preferably
in hospitality, residential, or commercial property management.
Working knowledge of basic trades including electrical, plumbing,
HVAC, and carpentry. Ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and
effectively. Strong customer service mindset and comfort
interacting with guests/residents. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs,
stand/walk for extended periods, and perform hands-on tasks.
HVAC/EPA certification a plus but not required. Flexibility to work
weekends or evenings depending on operational needs Benefits: Full
