Controls, regulates and directs pedestrian traffic. May perform desk duties, including telecommunications (telephone, computer, radio) Prepares clear, accurate, and complete reports on all activities as required Foot and Vehicle Patrol when warranted Controlling access and ensuring only authorized personnel are given access to the site. Assist Operations Management in Emergencies Qualifications of a Surveillance Security Guard You have a high school education or equivalent (GED) You’re able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process If you have Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience – even better! You have a Texas security license or the ability to obtain one You have a CPR certification or the ability to obtain one Must have a valid Driver's License You are at least 21 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirement In the United States, GardaWorld Security remains the only guarding security company to be Certified by Great Place to Work .
