Status:Regular Time Funding:Funded Description S3, Inc. is a woman owned small business located in Huntsville, AL that provides technical products and services through two diversified business units: SETA Services and Training & Systems Support (TSS). S3 also has three wholly-owned subsidiaries: Kachemak Bay Flying Services (KBFS), Global Logistics Support Services (GLSS), and S3 International, Inc. (S3I).S3 supports the US Department of Defense (DoD), other US Government (USG) agencies, Partner Nation militaries, and commercial customers. S3, Inc. is currently seeking an AH-64E Instructor Pilot to work out of Huntsville, AL office. Duties and Responsibilities (to include but not be limited to the following):***Successful candidate can live near Ft. Bragg, Ft. Hood, Ft. Rucker, Ft. Campbell or Redstone Arsenal.*** AH-64E Apache Longbow Instructor Pilot conducts mobile training for the AH-64E aircraft qualification course for U.S. pilots. Executes training involving AH-64E attack helicopter operational readiness support. This support includes individual aviator readiness level progression and pilot-in-command training, in the United States and potentially overseas. Provides classroom academic instruction to pilots on all required subjects listed in the TC 3-04.42 Aircrew Training Manual, Directorate of Doctrine and Training approved Flight Training Guide, and/or as requested by the supported aviation commander. Develops and produces hands on training in the AH-64E Apache Attack Helicopter and compatible high fidelity AH-64E training simulators. Provides POI based instruction in a variety of flight related subjects including, but not limited to, contact, night systems (NS) of Night Vision Goggles (NVG); Forward Looking Infrared (FLIR); Modernized Target Acquisition Designation Systems (MTADS); day, night (unaided); Visual Metrological Conditions (VMC); Instrument Metrological Conditions (IMC); Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) airspace procedures; terrain flight; gunnery operations and employment; Additionally, trains and prepares aviators for combat by training and evaluating Combat Maneuvering Flight (CMF); air-ground operations; employment of Aircraft Survivability Equipment (ASE); Common Missile Warning System (CMWS) operation and employment; operation of Blue Force Tracker (BFT); Implements the supported units Aircrew Training Program (ATP); certifies and documents training in accordance with U.S. Army regulations and local standard operating procedures. #AH-64E Required Skills & Qualifications: + Active security clearance is required. + Must have a Bachelor?s degree and eight (8) years of relevant functional experience or in lieu of a Bachelor?s degree, must have an additional three (3) years of relevant experience for a total of eleven (11) years. + Performed instructor pilot duties at the Company level or higher + Graduate of a U.S. Army approved Instructor Pilot Methods of Instruction course + Minimum of 5 years flight experience with 500 hours as Pilot in Command + Security Clearance: + Secret + Candidates will be subject to a pre-employment background investigation and drug screening per S3, Inc. requirements.
