Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and troubleshoot automotive issues accurately. Ensure all work is completed to high-quality standards and follows manufacturer warranty specifications. Maintain detailed records of all repairs, parts used, and services performed. Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so customer can be informed if any additional service is needed. Provide estimates of time needed for additional repairs. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues. Stay up to date with the latest automotive technology and industry trends through training and professional development opportunities. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary automotive training is a plus. Proven experience as an automotive technician, particularly in electrical and electronic systems. ASE certification or equivalent is preferred. Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills. Proficiency with automotive diagnostic tools and software. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality work. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
