To learn more about our unique culture, visit our culture page . Our North American Semiconductor group is searching for a Field Service Representative to join our Austin Team. This position will work at our customer site in Austin, TX. Key Responsibilities include: Installation and Preventative Maintenance System Component Diagnostics/Replacement Electrical/Mechanical Troubleshooting Upgrades Installation & Qualification Software Troubleshooting Customer Training Report Generation Procedure Creation/Modification The HORIBA Field Service team typically supports service level activities from multiple product groups including (but limited to) Mass Flow Controllers/Meters, Liquid Controllers, IR End-point Monitors, Chemical Concentration Monitors, Wet Chemistry monitors, etc. Skills and Knowledge: Associate of Science (or equivalent) in Electronics, mechatronics, robotics, optics, or other complimentary technical fields. 5 Years of service/maintenance at semiconductor (or similar industry) company 5 years’ experience in optical systems and robotics. Experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical subsystems Basic experience reading and interpreting electrical schematics and mechanical assembly drawings Basic network diagnostic capability (Windows based LAN) Experience working in cleanroom environment is required. Previous Field Service experience or experience interfacing with external customers is required. Ability to work night and weekends.
