Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Software Development Project Manager to lead the implementation and customization of a .NET-based application for our client. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing large-scale software projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, maintaining high-quality standards, and adhering to project timelines and budgets.

The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the migration and enhancement of a .NET software application, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring that technical solutions align with business needs. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to drive cross-functional teams toward successful project completion.

Duties and Responsibilities

Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.

Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, and milestones.

Ensure the .NET project is executed on time, within scope, and within budget.

Identify and mitigate project risks and issues proactively.

Collaborate with development teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Oversee implementation, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.

Provide regular project status updates, highlighting progress, risks, and dependencies.

Lead and motivate development teams, including developers and analysts.

Assign tasks, monitor team performance, and facilitate agile ceremonies.

Manage project budgets, track expenses, and control costs effectively.












Required Experience/Skills

8+ years of project management experience, including 5+ years leading multi-million-dollar projects.

Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices.

Extensive experience in managing .NET application development projects.

Hands-on experience with workflow management, file management, and reporting.

Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, and Azure DevOps.

Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.









Nice-to-Haves

Microsoft certifications related to .NET or Azure.

Experience working with government agencies or similar environments.




Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification required.
