Job Description:

Employee Benefits Account Manager We are looking for an Employee Benefits Account Manager to work as a strategic member of our benefits team providing high level service to our clients. The ideal candidate will be strategic, forward thinking, and solution minded. Essential Functions:

  • Assist in managing, structuring, and implementing employee benefit programs for clients
  • Maintain professional level of communication and rapport with both clients and carrier representatives
  • Support the success of both BKCW and its clients through prompt and effective customer service
  • Follow proactive service timeline for managing the client's benefits program
  • Maintain overall knowledge to assist with technology offered to clients
  • Assist in managing compliance for client benefits program, including ACA filings
  • Assist with wellness programs and initiatives for clients
  • Assess claims experience and share with clients to keep them informed and anticipate proposed carrier renewal actions
  • Prepare open enrollment guides and other communication materials for client
  • Assist in increasing value proposition to clients
  • Provide guidance and support with client's enrollments, billing, claims advocacy, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned Requirements

    • Strong organizational and time management skills, with an extreme attention to detail
    • Critical thinking skills with ability to use logic and reasoning to identify deficiencies or other concerns
    • Ability to adhere to and meet deadlines
    • Accountable and delivers on commitments
    • Exceptional communication skills, both in the verbal and written word
    • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Products Outlook, Word and Excel preferred; basic working knowledge of Power Point preferred
    • College degree preferred
    • Minimum two years' experience in employee benefits administration preferred

      • Problem Solving Skills EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree or equivalent Insurance Agency experience required. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The person in this positon must have the ability to travel unassisted, stand or sit to remain in stationary position for periods of time, extensively orally communicate, and operate computer for periods of time.
