Job Description:
A clinic located in Texas is seeking a pediatrician to join
their team of 3 other pediatricians and 3 NPs. The office is open
Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm and there are no
administrative duties. There will be a 1:6 call that is shared with
other pediatricians in the area. The group uses a pediatric
hospitalist for inpatient duties. The incoming physician will see
25 to 30 patients per day on average. The clinic has access to an
on-site lab and X-ray. This opportunity has a salary plus
productivity bonus with profit sharing starting in year 2. You will
be offered malpractice coverage, medical benefits, life
insurance/disability, vacation/holidays, CME, a sign-on bonus,
relocation assistance, and a pension plan in the 2nd year. Killeen
is in central Texas. It is a medium-sized town that offers its
residents all the amenities and services of a much larger city,
while maintaining a cozy, close-knit feel. East of the city, Temple
Lake Park has picnic areas, a beach, and bass-filled waters.
