Job Description:
We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a 56-day
locum tenens assignment in Texas beginning Jan 12, 2026. This
position offers multiple ED shift options, including both day and
night hours, with a flexible schedule of 7 to 14 shifts per month.
Board certification in Emergency Medicine and current ACLS, ATLS,
and BLS certifications are required. This is an excellent
opportunity to deliver high-quality care in a dynamic emergency
department environment. Job Details Location: Texas Start Date: Jan
12, 2026 LOA: 56 days Provider Type Needed: Emergency Medicine
Physician Schedule: 7-14 shifts per month; shift options include
Day: 6a-3p (9 hours), Day: 11a-9p (10 hours), Night: 3p-12a (9
hours), Night: 9p-6a (9 hours) Responsibilities and Duties Provide
comprehensive emergency medical care to patients in the emergency
department Assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of acute and
urgent conditions Stabilize patients and coordinate care with
consulting specialists as needed Order and interpret diagnostic
tests and imaging Document all patient encounters accurately and
timely Collaborate with nursing and ancillary staff to ensure
optimal patient outcomes Adhere to established protocols, policies,
and best practices in emergency medicine Additional Information
Must hold an active Texas medical license Board certification in
Emergency Medicine required Current ACLS, ATLS, and BLS
certifications required Prior experience in an emergency department
