Job Description Baylor Scott & White Health Medical Center is
seeking a Full Time Registered Nurse to join our Ortho Trauma
Progressive Care Unit (5 South). The 1 city in the nation for
Nursing opportunities and advancement. Baylor Scott & White
Memorial Hospital is a 636-bed specialty care teaching hospital and
the only Level 1 Trauma Center between Dallas and Austin. Schedule:
Full Time - Days - 36 hours per week Unit Summary This is a 35-bed
monitored nursing unit that provides the opportunity to work with a
wide variety of patients ranging from adults to Geriatrics. The
conditions that are within the scope of service include the
following but are not limited to: - Post ICU trauma patients
(serious traumatic injury to 2 or more body systems) - Complex
Plastic reconstructive surgeries (including reconstructive flaps
and graft sites, post cancer reconstruction, and trauma related
reconstruction) - Complex ENT patients including free muscle flaps
and neck dissections. - Complex ENT reconstructive tracheostomies
and laryngectomies - Traumatic Complex Fractures and
musculoskeletal wounds - Elective Joint Replacements – Rapid
Recovery Program - Sports Injuries - Spinal Deformities -
Complicated Pelvic, Hip, and compression Fractures - Skeletal
Malformations and Abnormalities - Amputations and Prosthesis -
Neurosurgery, Vascular Surgery, General Surgery - Medical/Surgical
