Job Opportunity – RN Telemetry – Central Texas Start Date: December 22, 2025 Location: Round Rock, Texas Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 13-week contract | Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 3-4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule block | No call required Highlights: 34-bed cardiac and neuro telemetry unit with 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio Experience with Level 2 trauma center and high patient turnover preferred EMR: Meditech (exposure strongly preferred) Equipment includes GE telemetry monitoring, Alaris IV pumps, and feeding pumps Diverse case mix: cardiac assessments, cardiac drips, post-catheterization procedures (ablation, pacemaker, defibrillator, Watchman), acute stroke assessments with NIH stroke scale, neuro checks, and dysphagia management Supportive team environment with CNCs, RNs, and PCTs on every shift Requirements: Active Texas RN license or compact state license Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required Telemetry experience in a high-acuity environment strongly preferred Level 2 trauma center experience preferred BSN preferred Why It's a Great Opportunity: Join a motivated, compassionate team dedicated to providing exceptional cardiac and neurological care in a dynamic environment.
