working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PICU RN in Austin,
Texas, 78758! Job Title: RN - PICU Profession: Registered Nurse
Specialty: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift:
Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License:
Active Registered Nurse License Certifications: PALS, ACLS
Must-Have: Previous PICU experience with knowledge of vents and
drips Description: Contract RN position in Pediatric Intensive Care
Unit. 13-week assignment with night shifts from 19:00 to 07:00. No
on-call requirements. Unit has a total of 6 beds. Staffing
typically includes 2-3 nurses per shift. Day shift consists of 1
charge RN and 1 PICU RN. Night shift consists of 1 charge RN and 1
PICU RN. Patient ratios are 2 ICU patients to 1 RN. Staff requires
knowledge of HFNC and seizure monitoring. Candidates should be a
team player, flexible, and open to feedback. Scrub color required
is navy blue. No artificial nails are permitted. The unit has a
strong focus on teamwork and camaraderie among staff. The unit has
maintained a CLABSI/CAUTI-free status since 2014. Prioritize
