Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Austin, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,621 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: RN - Med Surg Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Valid Nursing License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Candidates must possess a valid Nursing License. Candidates must have BLS certification. Description: This position is for a contract RN in a Medical Surgical unit. The contract duration is 13 weeks, working night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. No on-call requirements are necessary. The unit consists of 28 beds and is staffed by 32 FTEs. The typical patient ratio is 5:1 to 6:1. Staff includes 1 Charge Nurse and 6 RNs during the night shift. The unit utilizes equipment such as Video EEG, Hoyer Lift, Bladder Scanner, Vital Sign Machine, and Telemetry. Candidates with 3 years or more of nursing experience and experience in epilepsy care are preferred. The ideal candidate should be open to feedback and possess an owner mentality. The dress code includes navy blue scrubs featuring the designated logo. This position does not require on-call shifts.
