Prepare operating rooms for surgery including sterilizing instruments and ensuring necessary equipment is present and in working order. Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and other sterile supplies. Maintain a sterile environment to prevent contamination and ensure patient safety. Keep track of surgical instruments, supplies, and necessary equipment during surgical procedures. Assist in the application of dressings and other sterile techniques post-operation. Monitor and adhere to all relevant health and safety standards and procedures. Proficient in maintaining sterility in the operating room Able to anticipate surgeon's needs and assist during procedures Competent in the use of surgical tools and instruments Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
