Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Department Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 Year License: RN License Certifications: BLS, ALS, TNCC, ENPC or PALS Must-Have: - 1 year of Emergency Department experience Description: This is a backfill contract position for an RN in the Emergency Department. The shift is from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. No call is required. Candidates must possess BLS and ALS certifications. Experience in the Emergency Department is essential. The emergency department has 23 beds and a staff of 40. The typical patient ratio is 4:1. Staffing may fluctuate based on patient volume. The department performs procedures such as cardioversion and moderate sedation. A team-oriented and flexible approach is essential in this environment. The dress code is navy blue scrubs.
