Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a qualified and
passionate Speech Pathologist to join our dedicated team. As a
national leader in integrated healthcare services, we provide both
facility-based and home-based patient care across the United
States. In this role, you will work in a dynamic environment
delivering top-notch patient care, and collaborate with a team of
healthcare professionals to foster a supportive environment for our
patients' rehabilitation and recovery. Assess, diagnose, and treat
speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication,
and swallowing disorders in individuals of all ages, from children
to the elderly. Develop treatment plans tailored to each patient's
needs and track their progress. Educate patients and family members
about communication and swallowing strategies. Work collaboratively
with healthcare professionals to implement comprehensive care
plans. Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient
conditions and care. Stay current with new treatments,
technologies, and research in speech pathology. Advanced knowledge
of speech therapy and rehabilitation Strong interpersonal and
communication skills Ability to work effectively in both
independent and team environments Proficiency with electronic
healthcare documentation systems Critical thinking and
problem-solving skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance 401k Valid state licensure or certification as a
Speech-Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence in
Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American
Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
