Required Skills: Active and unrestricted Physician license in Texas or the ability to obtain one promptly Board-certified or Board-eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB-GYN) or Family Medicine with OB experience Proven experience in inpatient obstetric care and labor & delivery management Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills Ability to work independently in a fast-paced hospital setting Nice to Have Skills: Previous experience working as a locum or in temporary hospital staffing roles BLS, NRP, and ACLS certifications Familiarity with hospital EMR systems Multilingual abilities are a plus but not required Preferred Education and Experience: MD or DO degree from an accredited institution Minimum of 2 years of obstetric hospitalist experience in a hospital setting Texas medical licensure or the ability to obtain licensure swiftly Other Requirements: Flexibility to start on 12/31/2025 and work scheduled shifts as assigned Travel and licensure reimbursement when applicable Compliance with hospital credentialing and vaccination requirements This is a remarkable opportunity to contribute to patient-centered obstetric care while enjoying excellent pay at $195.00 per hour.
