Registered Nurse (RN) | Cardiovascular Operating Room Location: Austin, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,291 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/19/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified CVOR RN in Austin, Texas, 78705! Job Title: RN CVOR Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: CVOR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 11:00 AM - 11:30 PM Hours per Shift: 12.5 Experience: 3 years License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: • Minimum of 3 years of recent full-time experience as a CVOR circulator in a high-volume hospital setting. • Demonstrated proficiency in all aspects of cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures. • Ability to function independently in a fast-paced surgical environment. • Willingness to participate in call coverage after normal business hours and on weekends. Description: The CVOR service line provides surgical interventions for routine and complex cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures. Cardiac procedures include coronary artery bypass, valve repair or replacement, aortic dissection, heart transplantation, and placement of ventricular assist devices. The service line may involve impella or intra-aortic balloon pump placement as well as adult ECMO. TAVR procedures are performed in the endovascular OR. Thoracic cases include both laparoscopic, robot-assisted, and open procedures. Vascular procedures range from the placement and revision of grafts and fistulas to endovascular procedures. The CVOR service line comprises 4-6 operating rooms depending on daily volume and includes an endovascular suite. There is a capacity to conduct four concurrent procedures requiring cardiopulmonary bypass. Candidates must provide verifiable references from at least two prior travel assignments confirming no training is needed. The schedule for this contract is three shifts from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM on weekdays, based on department needs.
