Job Description Physician – Convenient Care (Family Medicine or
Urgent Care)Location: Austin, TexasSetting: Federally Qualified

positionPosition OverviewThis position is responsible for providing
direct and appropriate clinical care to adult and pediatric
patients in a Convenient Care setting. Convenient Care services
support patient access by offering efficient, high-quality medical
care that complements primary care services. Clinics operate with
extended hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and
focus on acute illness, acute injury, and facilitating continuity
back to primary care as appropriate. Providers report to the Clinic
Lead.Position Highlights Outpatient Convenient Care setting Care
for adult and pediatric patients Focus on acute illness and injury
Extended hours schedule including weekends and holidays
Mission-driven patient care environmentResponsibilities Provide
timely, appropriate, and quality medical care Diagnose and treat
acute illnesses and injuries Coordinate follow-up with primary care
providers Deliver care in accordance with clinical standards and
policies Support access and patient-centered care
initiativesEducation, Training & Experience MD or DO degree Board
certified or board eligible in Family Medicine or Urgent Care
Eligible for medical licensure in Texas Experience in acute care or
urgent care preferredLeadership Opportunity (Optional)Qualified
physicians with prior leadership or mentorship experience may be
considered for an additional Clinic Lead role. Supports and
advances the Convenient Care service line Collaborates with
administrative and nursing leadership Reports to the Associate
Chief Medical Officer – Primary Care Administrative effort
