Tracking Code 3285 Job Description As a leading international services company for more than 65 years, IAP provides a broad spectrum of services and solutions to U.S. and international government agencies, and organizations. --A world-class leader in providing seasoned program management, IAP leverages and integrates its capabilities --- IT & Communications, Aviation & Engineering Solutions, Power Solutions, Infrastructure & Logistics - to provide safe, innovative, and reliable solutions to meet customers' diverse and complex challenges. --With 2,500 team members, IAP operates in more than 110 locations in 27 countries worldwide and maintains offices in the Washington D.C. area, Florida, Maryland, Oklahoma, the United Kingdom, and the Middle East.-- Learn more at www.iapws.com . -- Serves as a Technical Trainer and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for DCGS-A Intelligence and Electronic Warfare (IEW) Maintenance training: manages and conducts the planning, development, and implementation of training programs from initiation of the Material Developers training development process based on the Analyze, Design Develop, Implement and Evaluate (ADDIE) model, through the delivery of New Equipment and sustainment training, to meet Project Manager, DCGS-A requirements. * Formulates and executes New Equipment Training (NET) for Project Manager DCGS-A in concert with fielding activities worldwide and provides refresher and over-the-shoulder (OTS) training as directed by the Army customer. * Provides technical and applied training expertise in all phases of training development. Applies education and training principles in the formulation and execution of IEW systems Maintenance training.-- Performs analysis and quality control of final products including Programs of Instruction (POI), System Training Plans (STP), Practical Exercises (PE), Lesson Plans, Technical Manuals (TM), and handouts.-- * Prepares instructional plans, products, and other support materials for all subject matter. * Assesses training requirements, identifies and evaluates training alternatives and develops training materials using a variety of training approaches: traditional classroom, programmed learning, hands-on, simulation, video, audio, and computer aided training. Monitors personnel learning progress to assist in the evaluation of the effectiveness of training presentations.-- * Tailors training for the individual student, or an entire classroom in accordance with mission requirements and students past training/experience. * Conducts training programs on complex topics and designs and develops training program elements/modules. * Develops Sustainment Training Plans to ensure customer proficiency with fielded software and equipment over a sustained period of time. * Identifies software anomalies to assist software developers in optimizing DCGS-A system functionality and applications to meet user requirements. * Reviews or produces technical documentation and recommends measures to improve methods, performance, and the quality of products and services, and suggests changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness in training delivery. * Participates with software developers to optimize DCGS-A systems functionality to meet user requirements, providing recommendations for resolution of technical problems where required. * Works extensively with New Systems Training and Integration Division personnel to ensure lesson plans and training exercises meet Army TRADOC standards through verification and validation activities. * Serves as a Mission Lead system events when directed. * Provides training on complex system operation to include; installation of operating systems, virtual machines, system software, proper system configuration based on communication and intelligence architecture. Qualifications: * Bachelors and 5 years of relevant experience OR 10 years of experience in lieu of degree * Maintain DOD 8570.01 IAT Level I &II certification with MSCA, MCTS & CompTia certification. * Must be able to provide theory and application of fault detection, isolation and correction on computer systems and individual peripherals. * Must be capable of providing training on conducting routine system maintenance and administration functions including system modifications; adding and replacing software and hardware items system startup, shutdown, backup and restore; database administration and maintenance; and system user accounts to include active directory. * Must be able to articulate intelligence and communication architectures to student and how the systems fits into them. * Be capable of providing training on routine router configurations. * Clearance: * Maintain an active Top Secret (TS) Clearance with Sensitive Compartment Information (SCI) access and a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph. -- -- Work Schedule:-- * Normal schedule is Monday - Friday, 8 hours @ day; however, there is significant travel world-wide travel to support the ongoing military training mission. * Travel is often performed on weekends and extended days are frequent, it is not unusual to occasionally work 10-12 hour days on critical missions. -- Travel : * Frequent and high percentage travel schedule (up to 70%) occasionally on short notice. * Travel is usually 3 to 5 weeks per trip but may occasionally have little break between trips or trips of up to 5 weeks in length. * Travel is worldwide and may include areas considered combat zones.
