seeks an associate to join their Healthcare Team in their Austin
office. The ideal candidate must have 3-5 years of experience to
work on healthcare regulatory compliance and policy matters in the
areas of life sciences and technology. Our team seeks to add a
dynamic lawyer with good verbal and written skills to assist in
healthcare compliance counseling as well as support cutting edge
transactions (M&A, public offerings) involving healthcare
providers as well as manufacturers/distributors/distributors of
FDA-regulated products. Ideal candidates will have demonstrated
experience in healthcare regulatory compliance and fraud and abuse
matters, including with the Anti-Kickback Statute, the Stark Law,
state corporate practice of medicine, HIPAA, the Sunshine Act and
reimbursement and coverage rules under Medicare and Medicaid.
Experience supporting enforcement matters such as HHS OIG, state
AG, and DOJ investigations are a plus.
