Tracking Code 2255 Job Description As a leading international services company for more than 65 years, IAP provides a broad spectrum of services and solutions to U.S. and international government agencies, and organizations. --A world-class leader in providing seasoned program management, IAP leverages and integrates its capabilities --- IT & Communications, Aviation & Engineering Solutions, Power Solutions, Infrastructure & Logistics - to provide safe, innovative, and reliable solutions to meet customers' diverse and complex challenges. --With 2,500 team members, IAP operates in more than 110 locations in 27 countries worldwide and maintains offices in the Washington D.C. area, Florida, Maryland, Oklahoma, the United Kingdom, and the Middle East.-- Learn more at www.iapws.com . -- IAP supports the DCGS-A overall program execution by providing hardware and network systems engineering (data processing and management, system and component accreditation / certification, etc.), unit / organization hardware and software staging, fielding, and training of the Family of Systems (FoS) to various unit locations worldwide.-- IAP configures systems and components in accordance with the Project Manager---s direction, conducts checkouts, staffs and deploys fielding and training teams, and assists as needed in maintaining hardware and software to support the successful delivery of the capabilities to military units. --IAP also provides other associated project level support.-- Our personnel will be cleared to the appropriate security levels in order to perform all required support efforts. -- Essential Job Functions: * Coordinates the day-to-day operation of all aspects of logistics (i.e., distribution, inventory control, fulfillment, etc.). * May conduct inventory audits in order to monitor production and plant inventory levels. * Arranges warehousing and transportation of product to customer. * May investigate and respond to inquiries regarding distribution and shipping. * May review order forms for proper coding, quantities requested, and authorized approvals; prepare purchase orders; verify accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments and orders; maintain records of materials in inventory and on order; and update information on the system to maintain records. * Implements logistics plans that affect the production, distribution, and inventory materials in order to enhance product flow. * Supports the development of policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure quality and cost control. * May conduct distribution and network studies and monitor inventory and analyze requirements in order to achieve desired delivery times and order fill rates. * Maintains appropriate records and prepares reports. * Coordinates logistics activities with internal/external customers. -- Education and Experience: * Bachelor---s degree or seven (7) years of logistics experience is required. * Must have at least four (4) years of relevant experience. * Must possess four (4) years of experience in preparing/editing DOD technical documents, supply, purchasing, provisioning, design, and reliability, availability and maintainability (RAM) analysis of complex mechanical and electronics systems/equipment. -- Security Clearance: Active SECRET clearance required.
