Description: The Training Developer will function as a System Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) Training Developer, representing the Senior SETA Training Lead for Distributed Common Ground System - Army (DCGS-A). They will be responsible for Training Development activities for DCGS-A within the Systems Integration Lab (SIL). The ideal candidate will have good interpersonal skills, will be able to work independently, as well as within a team environment, will have a thorough understanding of Training Development, and will have prior experience on DCGS-A and Military Intelligence All Source operations. MacAulay-Brown, Inc. (MacB) is providing support to the PM Distributed Common Ground System -Army (DCGS-A) in training the U.S. Army customer to use the material developer's software solution. MacB is seeking an experienced Intelligence Analyst with military training certification and TS/SCI clearance to train elements of DCGS-A. Duties include, but are not limited to the following: Conduct DCGS-A New Equipment Training (NET), refresher training, or Delta/difference training to U.S. Army, Army National Guard and U.S. Army Reserve forces at military bases worldwide. Conduct formal classroom training using prepared training materials. Conduct over-the-shoulder (OTS) training support during exercises or in operational environments. Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) assistance integrating DCGS-A into unit intelligence operations. Plan and develop intelligence training programs of instruction (POI) to support each organization's training needs. Plan/develop instructional plans, products, and other training support materials for DCGS-A training topics. Plan/develop and implement student evaluation materials to measure training effectiveness. Provide input for changes to training materials to meet changing mission requirements, e.g resource requirements, hardware/ software changes, and doctrinal/threat changes. Conduct independent system verification and validation (IV&V) to review training materials against the system to verify training materials are accurate representation of system functions. Provide specific input for changes to training materials based on independent results of IV&V. Provide recommendations to developer/project manager for fixes based on problems discovered during IV&V. Coordinate training topics and daily class schedules with the organization points of contact. Coordinate/confirm site support and technical support for classroom space to support assigned training events. Coordinate/confirm training material delivery to assigned training events. Apply physical, document, and electronic security procedures for classified material. Perform administrative tasks in support of training including individual travel arrangements and contract reporting requirements. Participate in training related meetings, conferences and reviews and provide input and feedback to the customer. Must be current on DA and parallel DoD training standards, regulations and methods. Normal schedule is Monday - Friday, 8 hours @ day; however, there is significant travel world-wide to support the ongoing military training mission. Additionally, travel is often performed on weekends. Also, Extended Work Weeks are frequent and it is not unusual to occasionally work 10-12 hour days on critical missions. Requirements: * Intelligence Training and Trainer experience is critical. * Experience with the Army & DoD training, unit intell operations. Experience with U.S. Army network or systems support helpful. * DCGS-A and Microsoft Office experience is important as is experience with one or more of the following legacy or follow-on systems: ACE Block II, CHARCS, CGS, DTSS, IMETS. * BS Degree + 5 years experience is required. If no degree, 10 years relevant experience is required. * Military training is also critical. * Trainer Certification is needed. * Clearance Requirement: TS-SCI * Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years' experience (an additional 8 years' experience may be substituted for degree). * Good interpersonal skills, will be able to work independently, as well as within a team environment (e.g., self-motivated, self-starter) * Strong attention to detail to find changes in software interface and problem solving skills. * Ability to read, understands, and follows written technical instructions and other technical specifications. * Ability to work within a collaborative environment, multi-task, and sense of urgency to work within aggressive timeframes * Possess a strong understanding of Military Intelligence All Source operations * Familiar with Army Regulations 350-1, 350-70, 700-127 and Department of the Army Pamphlet 700-142 * Must have a thorough understanding of Technical Documentation concepts and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. * Willing and able to travel at a minimum of 25%, annually. * Have Distributed Common Ground Systems- Army (DCGS-A) experience * Work directly with the Senior SETA Training Lead for DCGS-A * Collaborate with subject matter experts (SME), software engineers, software testers, vendors, and contractors to coordinate updates of SW / HW for training development. * Perform impact/risk analysis of system modifications and technological advances on the training material for the associated DCGS-A system. * Assist in the data collection, development and maintenance of the required hardware and software instructor-led training material and supporting student materials (e.g. objectives, instructor and participant materials, e-learning, job aids, reinforcement materials, train the trainer materials) for each information system in accordance with the TRADOC 350-70 requirements. * Perform peer and quality reviews of materials created by other team members * Attend various meetings and briefings related to system design * Participate in, and the oversee execution of IKPTs & V&V events. * Work with NET Teams to gather input for updates of existing training material as needed.
