Job Description: An Automotive Sales Consultant sells cars,
trucks and other vehicles to commercial, government and private
clients. The responsibilities of Auto Sales Consultants include
communicating with customers, discussing their needs, persuading
them to buy the right vehicle for these needs and promoting sales
offers as they arise. These consultants also give potential
customers test drives and coordinate financing. - - - - - - - Keep
aware of new products, features and accessories - - - - - - -
Follows dealership sales process as directed by Sales Management -
- - - - - - Generate appointments and quotes by means of proactive
outbound prospecting and lead activity management to qualify and
market to potential customers - - - - - - - Be available to respond
to email inquiries in a professional, well-spoken manner - - - - -
- - Assist customers in appropriate vehicle selection - - - - - - -
Deliver inquiries/messages intended for other sales personnel and
departments promptly - - - - - - - Increase dealer penetration for
both broadcast and digital properties - - - - - - - Improve average
deal size and grow total dealer spending within the market - - - -
- - - Work with local sales executives and managers to develop
consistent sales strategy and overall plan to increase revenue at
each dealer group - - - - - - - Walk the lot and visually inspect
inventory - - - - - - - Complete all paperwork and arrange for
delivery and registration of vehicle - - - - - - - Sell vehicles in
a fast-paced, high-energy inside sales environment - - - - - - -
Guide clients through a virtual, online car buying process via
phone and email - - - - - - - Answer and convert a high volume of
inbound and outbound phone calls into sales Job Qualifications: - -
- - - - - Excellent reputation for building customer relationships
- - - - - - - Complete understanding of automotive business
including customer targeting, sales strategy, operations and
marketing - - - - - - - Documented experience and success working
directly with auto dealers to enhance their business's success - -
- - - - - Proven experience developing, coaching and managing both
a team and sales process - - - - - - - Ability to multitask across
various strategic initiatives - - - - - - - 3-5 years experience in
the auto industry (ideally dealership operations) - - - - - - - A
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a
related field
